Fresh & Green opens eight new rebranded locations

Natural Market Restaurants, the New York-based multi-banner food services business, recently completed rebranding eight grocery outlets acquired from the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company. The rebranded Fresh & Green stores are located in Maryland and Washington D.C.

Currently, all eight stores are open for business after having been staffed and restocked. A complete refurbishment is on the cards, but a specific date will be announced later. The rebranded Fresh & Green stores are located at 1238 Baydale Dr. in Arnold and 1020 W. 41st St. and 222 N. Charles Sreet (both in Baltimore); 40 Souder Road in Brunswick; 780 Cambridge Plaza in Cambridge; 17 Washington Square in Chestertown; and 7709 Harford Road in Parkville. The DC metro rebranded store is located at 4330 48th St NW.

All the stores will offer conventional, natural and prepared foods at affordable prices. They will also house natural local and organic food items.

Natural Market Restaurants operates several other natural food retail stores, and open marketplace concepts such as Planet Organic Market, Richtree Market Restaurant, and Mrs. Green's Natural Market. There are also plans to open a 30,000 sq ft flagship location of Wilde & Greene, the company's new restaurant concept.
